Small Haul, Y'all!

Hello Beauties!  I hope you all had a great Christmas!  What was your favorite gift?  Well, my Christmas was different this year, but great.  My favorite gift was family.  Just being with my family and enjoying our time of fellowship and of course, food!  My mom makes the BEST Gumbo!  D-E-L-I-C-I-O-U-S!!!
Okay, on to my little after Christmas shopping haul!  Before working out, I went to CVS and Walgreens  ... I was actually on the hunt for the Ora Brush that I kept seeing/hearing about on Youtube.  I know, I know, a tongue brush?  I wanted to see what the hoopla was all about!  I have not yet tried it, but I will definitely give a little review when I do!  So I finally found the Ora Brush at CVS. 
I also got a Nivea Total Skincare kit from Walgreens.  I LOVE Nivea's Smooth Sensation Daily Lotion for dry skin in Shea Butter.  They also have it in Almond Oil.  The skincare comes with body wash,  a kiss of shimmer lip care balm, and the lotion, all for $10!  Nivea's lotion by itself is 5 or 6 bucks!  So you're really getting a good deal.  I also purchased Essie Nail polish in "Kisses and Bises" It's clear polish with shimmer. Not too much, just enough!    It's a top coat that gives the nails a little pizazz! Very pretty!
After hitting up Walgreens/CVS, it was time to work on my fitness!  I have slacked off, but that's all changing!  I made up my mind that I was getting back in the habit of working out and dieting! And I was NOT waiting until January 1, 2012!  The time is NOW!  Come on Beauties, don't put it off any longer!  Like Nike says, JUST DO IT!!!!  Okay, enough of the fitness talk. After working out, it was on to the mall.
I've been on a mission to find a nice pair of brown boots.  Is it just me that thinks the boots this season have been kinda hit or miss???  I usually see 1,000 pairs of boots that I like or want, but not this year.  I tried on a few particular boots on that I've had in mind, but they were either not a good look on my foot or didn't fit over my huge calf muscle!  
Anyway, I found some brown Gianni Bini boots.  At first I was like these are too cowboy/western looking, but once I put them on, I LOVED them!  I am still looking for nice, decently priced booties.  Booties are just as expensive as boots!  I am girl who likes a deal and I am sorry, but I am NOT paying $150.00 for booties. Just not going to happen.   I am happy with my boots.  The last thing purchased was 2 pairs of workout pants and jacket to keep me warm!  So that was my little outing for the day!
