the truth tellers in my life. Those who do not sugarcoat, beat around the bush, or "tickle my fancy." I am thankful for those who have whispered words of comfort, healing, and encouragement when I felt like I would fall flat on my face, or give up. I'm thankful for those who boldly speak the truth in love (Ephesians 4:15)
The truth hurts sometimes. But it's necessary to have people who will be objective when needed, give criticism if needed ... it's also comforting to know, they have my best interest at heart. People like this are few, far, and in between. I have a few core people in my life that I can go to with any situation and I know they'll be open, honest and frank with me. I can appreciate that even when stubbornness and the wall of defense comes up! I am so very thankful for my truth tellers ... I think I'll drop some of them a note soon! ;-)
