Checking in ...

Well, Hello Beauties!!! It has been a while, I believe my last post was well over 5 months ago. I have a pretty solid explanation,/reason as to why I've been MIA. I even made a declaration stating that I wanted to blog bi-weekly (that was my goal/intention) and I failed, miserably failed. And here's why, I went back to school and started a new job!

 

After 10 years of leaving college (I could kick myself!) I decided it was the perfect time to go back! Since May 2011, I've been separated and now going through a divorce. I have ALWAYS had the desire to go back and complete what I started years ago and with all that has transpired, I made the decision to go back. I did not want to put it off another year. So, needless to say, I've been very focused on my studies and have not had the time to blog. I've been swimming in English and Psychology!

 

Now that I am back in the swing of things, I hope to get back on track with my blogging. I really enjoy it and I love browsing other blogs as well. I must admit, I started my blog at the beginning of my separation. It was an outlet, a means of escape. When I sad, mad, down, or whatever emotion I was going through, blogging helped me to release.

 

So now, the semester is O-V-E-R and I can finally BREATHE!!!

I don't remember school being this tedious/hard ... maybe it's because I didn't have so many priorities? I am thankful for a great first semester nonetheless! I have done far better than I expected to. I was so nervous going back because of (1) Age (2) The time I've been out of school and (3) The amount of pressure I put on myself! I nearly drove myself cray cray and my family, too!!! Now, I get enjoy a month free of English papers and no Psychology!!!

Okay, enough of that, I will be back soon to share some beauty/fashion related things I bought this weekend. There are some A-M-A-Z-I-N-G Holiday gifts and deals at Ulta, Bare Escentuals, MAC, Sephora and Target!!! If I were rich, I would have bought one of everything I drooled over!!! Stay tuned ...
