I am so thankful God has blessed me with 28 years! Even though it was a bittersweet Birthday, it was good nonetheless. My morning started off so nice ... my Mom and Dad came into the room and gave me a card and prayed over me (so sweet and something I'll never forget) I went back to sleep for an hour or so. I woke up and then my Dad gave me Red Roses (one of my favorites) if you know my Dad, that is so UNLIKE him! Then the texts and phone calls came ... lunch with my mom and family friend. I had coffee, laughs, and all sorts of other madness with the "sisters."
I got some pretty nice gifts, but nothing beats the love, joy, laughter, and comfort of family & friends. NOTHING. Even in the storm, there's blessings. Thank you to all who made my day special! Wow, I am 28 years old ... Wooooow! ;-)
